Timez Attack
Timez Attack is a new video game specifically for learning multiplication tables. It's as high-tech and entertaining as a top video game with 3D graphics, sound and highly engaging scenarios.

There is a FREE version that you can download at their site, and they have a more fully featured pay version. The free version  has all the basic functionality kids need to master times tables.

Your character journeys through different levels of a dungeon collecting golden keys from creatures while solving times table problems. The pay version adds extra environments to play in such as a "machine" level and a "lava" level.

We have tried the free version in grades 2-5. The kids really love to practice their times tables with this. In the lab, they get so engaged in solving the problems that they groan in disappointment when they have to stop after their 30 minute class is done.

I highly recommend this learning game to help your child master their tables.

You can jump ahead quickly to the next number level by taking a short quiz in the dungeon. The creature tests your knowledge of selected times tables and gives you the results at the end.

If you answer all the questions correctly, you get to advance to the next number level. If you miss any, you continue on your quest through the dungeon reviewing the types of problems you missed. You progress to the next level when thorough mastery is demonstrated.
