Castlebay Students Win Art Contest
Art teacher Cindy Kamin-Brenek led four Castlebay students in art projects that won awards and are featured in the 2008 California Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Calendar.

Castlebay Lane Elementary School API at 917!
Vivian Ihori, Principal of Castlebay Lane Elementary school, was proud to announce that the school's Academic Performance Index (API) rose 7 points in 2007 to 917. This is an excellent score, continuing to position Castlebay in the top 10% of schools in California. We expect to announce the 2008 scores as school starts in September 2008.
